What if every bit of tech – every system or service – was something actively supporting your business?
Have you ever thanked and cursed technology in the same breath? Been thankful that these magical constructs of code, wires and circuits make so many things in our lives “easier” – or at least run on automatic? But then also been so unbelievably irritated when it didn’t work as expected or ate up an entire afternoon trying to make it do what you wanted it to? And then continued on using all of it anyway because it’s what’s expected, what’s demanded to run a successful business?
When I see you struggling with technology, it hurts. Mainly because I know what you’re trying to do – make things easier – and also I know that’s possible no matter how “technical” (or not) you are. There’s so many reasons tech like anything else can get out of alignment. It’s oversized or undersized for what you need. There weren’t enough resources to set it up properly (or… maybe you didn’t have the time to invest in it). It wasn’t designed for how you think, how you work.
Technology doesn’t hate you. And you don’t have to hate technology.
